Gulla CPA is an up-and-coming firm based out of Southeast Michigan. Established in 2019, we have grown to four states with six locations and are focused on rapidly expanding both our geography and our knowledge within the field. Combining our expertise, experience and the dedication of our staff, we are committed to ensuring each client receives close, personal attention and the best professional advice in the field.

Waseem Gulla, CPA - President

Waseem Gulla is a Certified Public Accountant and the President of Gulla CPA. His business portfolio began in 2011 with the acquisition of a failing gas station in Metro Detroit. Within months, Waseem was able to turn it into a profitable operation, and within a few years he was able to sell it as a six-figure business. Waseem obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2015 from Walsh College and started his career in the field with the Big 4. He obtained his Master of Accountancy and CPA License in 2016, and a few years later, decided to put his skills to the test and open his own firm. Aside from work, Waseem spends his time investing in real estate and with his beautiful wife and two daughters

James Stibich, CPA - Tax Director

James Stibich is a certified public accountant and the Tax Director at Gulla CPA, PLLC. He began his tax and accounting career in the automotive industry in 2012 before switching to public accounting at one of the world’s largest firms, where he spent nearly 7 years specializing in individual/business taxation and real estate. James received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oakland University and currently resides in Rochester Hills with his wife and children.

Rich Jagusztyn, CPA - Tax Director

Richard is the Tax Services Director of the Fort Lauderdale Office. He has over 44 years of experience in public accounting with a Master of Science in Taxation Degree. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth families and their entities, assisting them in minimizing their total tax burden. Rich has significant experience in outbound and inbound international taxation, multistate businesses, exit strategies and client representations before federal and state tax authorities. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounting.

Caity Bejster, CPA - Tax Manager

Caity is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Manager at Gulla CPA, PLLC. She received a BSBA in Accounting from Central Michigan University in 2017 and went on to start her career in Big 4 Accounting, where she remained until January of 2021. Her experience at the firm included individual, estate, gift, trust, partnership and corporate tax compliance. After a brief period in corporate accounting, Caity joined Gulla CPA in August of 2021, where she plans to center her career on individual taxation with a focus in estate/trust and cryptocurrency law. Outside of work, Caity enjoys spending her free time exercising, trying new things and with her friends and family.

Rocky Orezzoli, CPA - Tax Accountant

Rocky is a Tax Accountant in our Ft. Lauderdale office. He received his Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. He has spent years focusing on assisting small businesses and individuals with tax compliance and long range tax planning. He is a long time resident of South Florida where he resides with his wife and three children.
